Summary


General Conditions of Entry

All persons entering the facility must agree to abide by these terms and conditions:

  • All persons entering the facility must follow the directions of the centre staff
  • Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre is an Alcohol free zone
  • Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre is a Smoking free zone
  • Any behaviour deemed by staff hazardous to yourself or other patrons is strictly prohibited
  • Any behaviour deemed by staff to disturb the peace is strictly prohibited
  • All persons entering the facility authorise Wollondilly Leisure Centre Staff to obtain and or administer any medical assistance they deem necessary should the need arise. All persons entering the facility must also agree to pay all medical expenses incurred on their behalf.
  • I acknowledge that I am aware of the inherent risks of injury or ill health resulting from use of all facilities and services at the centre and do so at my own risk and responsibility whether supervised by staff or not.
  • I take full responsibility of any injury, illness loss or damage to my person and or property that may directly or indirectly result from my participation in all activities and services. In doing so I agree to release and hold to hold Wollondilly Leisure Centre, Leisure Management Services and representatives indemnified to the fullest extent permissible by law against any claim or demands which hereafter might be made by or on my behalf for any injury, loss or damage from any cause whatsoever, while using the facility.
  • Leisure Management Services retain the exclusive rights to perform all commercial and non-commercial services and activities at Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre. No commercial or conflicting activities may be carried out without written permission from the centre manager.
  • All persons entering the centre are required to pay the normal entry fees.
  • All persons entering the facility agree to leave the facility when directed by the centre staff
  • No swearing, offensive or abusive language.
  • Not verbally or physically intimidate or threaten staff or users
Parental Supervision of Swimming Areas

  • Parental supervision is essential at all times
  • Children (under 10 years) are not allowed entry unless under active supervision of a person 16 years or older.
  • For 0–5 year olds and non-swimmers, a parent or guardian needs to be in the water at all times and within arms’ reach of the child
  • For 6–10 year olds, Constant active supervision is required
  • For 11–14 year olds it is recommended that you physically check up on them on a regular basis
  • Pool Staff are not a substitute for proper parental/guardian supervision

Free Gym Trials

  • 7 consecutive days 
  • 16yrs or older
  • Valid for gym access only 
  • Available to local residents only
  • 1 trial per customer
  • You may be contacted by our staff in regards to your trial

Gym / Swim Membership

Terms and Conditions:

  • Automatic Debit memberships are based on periodical membership payment from a bank account or credit card nominated by yourself and at an
  • amount and frequency nominated within this agreement
  • Any rejected Automatic Debits may incur a $20 administration fee which will be automatically debited along with the following Direct Debit payment
  • Automatic Debit memberships are ongoing, and do not have an expiry date or cancellation date until notication is given as per the conditions below
  • Membership is valid for the person listed on the membership form only
  • Family members are 2 adults and those children listed on your medicare care card

Cancellation & Suspension:

  • 30 days notice is required for cancellation of ‘No Lock-in’ memberships
  • All cancellations must be made in person at the centre by completing a cancellation form
  • Memberships can not be suspended during the notication period
  • 14 days notice is required for membership suspension & you can suspend for up to 60 days per year (resetting in October each year)
  • You will incur a processing fee of 25c per day for the duration of the suspension
  • Membership payments will automatically recommence at the end of the suspension period

Gym and Health Club Participation Wavier

All persons entering the gym or participating in a fitness activity must agree to abide by these terms and conditions:

  • I agree to abide by the General Conditions of Entry, dress code, equipment usage and use of services that are displayed within this facility and that have been provided to me.
  • I acknowledge that I am aware of the inherent risks of injury or ill health resulting from use of all facilities and services at the centre and do so at my own risk and responsibility whether supervised by staff or not.
  • I take full responsibility of any injury, illness loss or damage to my person and or property that may directly or indirectly result from my participation in all activities and services. In doing so I agree to release and hold to hold Wollondilly Leisure Centre, Leisure Management Services and representatives indemnified to the fullest extent permissible by law against any claim or demands which hereafter might be made by or on my behalf for any injury, loss or damage from any cause whatsoever, while using the facility.
  • Fitness Assessments & Personalised Workout Programs are available teach gym users how to use all of the relevant equipment in a safe and effective way and minimise the risks associated with exercising and using the facility and equipment. I understand that it is my decision to take up this offer or not.
  • I understand that this gym and its representatives are not able to provide any medical advice with regards to my medical fitness and that any information provided is to be used as a guide.

Swimming Lessons

Learn to Swim Policies:

Re-Enrolment

  • To keep your place in the program, simply pay the next term fees before the end of the current term (eg: to keep your place for term 4, pay the term 4 fees before Term 3 ends)
  • If paying via Automatic debit your booking automatically carries over and you do not need to re-enrol.
  • If fees are not paid & no arrangements have been made – your position is forfeited and you will need to re-book as a new student

Illness
Just like school, it’s important that your child stays at home if they are sick or contagious in any way. Children who are suspected of being sick or contagious will be required to leave the class unless a doctor’s clearance can be provided.

Make Up Lessons
As a courtesy we can offer a Make-Up lesson for times when your child is unable to swim. There are a few important conditions:

  • You must give several hours’ notice that you will be absent
  • Make-up classes are subject to availability
  • Bookings for make-up lessons can only be made up to a week in advance
  • Make-up’s can’t be used as credits for the following term and are only carried over if they occur in the last 2 weeks of term
  • Make-up lessons are given as a courtesy and are not guaranteed

Refunds

  • Refunds are not given for missed lessons or change of mind

Automatic Debit Terms and Conditions:
Automatic Debit enrolments are based on periodical payment from a bank account or credit card

  • Automatic Debit memberships are ongoing for the duration of each swim term, and do not have an expiry date or cancellation date
  • Enrolments and payments will automatically recommence at the beginning of each new swim term

Debit Cancellation:

  • 14 days’ notice is required for cancellation of automatic debit payments
  • You must complete a cancellation form available from reception
  • You will continue to be charged if you don’t complete a cancellation form

Free Pool Entry Outside Lessons Times

Children currently enrolled in swim lessons can swim for FREE outside of lesson times.
To gain FREE access there are some important conditions:

  • You must have NO outstanding fees owing
  • For school holiday access, fees for the following term must be paid in full (or you are paying via fortnightly automatic debit)
  • When the LTS term ends, the FREE access ends unless you enrol and pay for the next term
  • Parents must pay normal pool entry / spectator fees
  • If your child is in a baby class (Squirts or Squids), 1x parent is entitled to FREE entry
  • Free entry excludes school events and special activities

Lifeguards Are NOT Babysitters

You are responsible for your children at all times, be prepared to get wet.

Keep Watch at Public Pools Policy

Children (under 10 years) are not allowed entry unless under active supervision of a person 16 years or older. Parents and guardians should actively supervise their children at all times
0–5 year olds and non-swimmers
A parent or guardian needs to be in the water at all times and within arms’ reach of the child. It is best if you are engaging with your child i.e. playing with them, talking to them.
6 – 10 year olds
Constant active supervision is required for children aged 6–10 years old.
Parents and carers must be prepared to enter the water with this age group.
11–14 year olds
It is recommended that parents regularly check on their child by physically going to where they are in or around the water.
